空気力学部門委員会

空気の流れに対する基礎的な学理の探求、航空機やロケットなどの飛行体まわりの流れの現象解明と予測、風洞を始めとする試験設備とそこで用いられる計測技術の開発、CFD技術の開発などを所管する。 活動として、毎年秋に「流体力学講演会」を開催するほか、適宜年会講演会、飛行機シンポジウム、宇宙科学連合講演会において企画を持つ。

Aerodynamics Division Committee

This committee is in charge of fundamental researches of gas flow, study and prediction of flows over flying vehicles, development of ground testing facilities for gas flow and measurement technologies used therein, development of CFD technologies, and so forth. It sponsors “Fluid Dynamics Conference” every autumn, and occasionally contributes with special sessions to the “Annual Meeting”, “Aircraft Symposium” and “Space Science and Technology Conference”.
